Cooperation & Community Building

As a cooperative, this Farm Crawl helps us advance our vision of self-sufficiency and a strengthened regional food system. Here’s how:

Build Member Capacity

We provide opportunities for returning-generation farmers to experience diverse urban farm models across Delaware—and engage in hands-on, community-led building projects and skill sharing.

Strengthen Cooperative Ties

We deepen relationships between MABFC members and Delaware-based farms through learning, collaboration, and solidarity.

Uplift Visibility

We highlight the stories and impact of Black farmers in Delaware by welcoming the public to tour, purchase, and engage directly with local farms.

Increase Economic Opportunities

We expand direct-to-consumer and wholesale pathways by connecting farmers with chefs, food producers, and community members committed to supporting Black agriculture.
